So how does one “find his/her voice” or “share their passion”?
Well, they find an audience that will listen.
So how does one “find an audience”?
Well, they speak what is true for them into the ether, because in the beginning there is no one there to listen. The truth is all forward movement takes FAITH. To get YOUR message to the world it is going to take faith.
And Faith as defined by Dictionary.com is;
So the way I see it is you need the confidence and/or trust in a person (yourself) and/or a thing (your message) and a belief (you have something to offer) that is not based on proof (because you have no audience yet).
We all have something to share with the world, it’s about time you had faith in yourself, your message and not be concerned for proof before you start living your true life.
Just think of all the great messages, teachings and inspiration we would have missed out on if some of these people would have waited for proof and an audience before they started sharing what was inside them.
Mother Teresa – who went from being a teacher, to being the Voice of awareness for the poor in India and eventually the world.
Gandhi - a failed lawyer who went on to lead a nation to independence and influenced the lives of future leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr. and Nelson Mandela.
Jimmy Buffett – who started as a street musician and then discovered his audience and voice in Key West Florida. He has gone on to provide millions of fans music and margaritas that help them escape the drudgery of the “work a day” life.
All these people and thousands more that have influenced your and my life started out talking to no one with a little faith that their message was important.
I want you to go tell your message to whoever will listen today, the birds, the stranger on the street, the person in the mirror and the readers of my blog.
It’s just as important as any damn thing anyone else has to say…. so say it!
